Job Description
As our new Construction Planner and Scheduler, you will support industrial engineering, EPC, and EPCM projects as part of our Project Resources Team. This position may be considered a hybrid role with occasional project travel, supporting the project managers, engineers, construction managers, and other project team members.
Your work will focus on developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules and tools that support the effective execution of design and construction activities across our project portfolio.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments, and a desire to grow within the scheduling, industrial engineering, and construction fields.
Qualifications Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred, plus 5+ years of relevant experience; or
- Associate degree in a related field plus 7+ years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, candidates with direct experience of 5+ years in construction management, engineering, working on construction sites or industrial project environments will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or other standard scheduling software is preferred.
- Experience using advanced scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations.
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to create, update, and review detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools.
- Experience planning project execution and sequencing of work. Adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ability to facilitate cross functional planning and scheduling meetings, gather information from various project personnel, and incorporate into schedules.
- Provide scheduling support on EPC/large construction projects where multiple schedulers are required or lead the scheduling effort on smaller projects where one scheduler is needed.
- Translate construction means & methods into realistic schedule logic.
- Execute, monitor, and control project scheduling processes and procedures.
- Support the development of planning and sequencing documents with limited design details for incorporation into project schedules.
- Regularly update project schedules to reflect progress and changes; assess impact of changes on timelines and budgets.
- Perform critical path and scenario analysis.
- Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Generate regular status reports and provide updates to project teams and stakeholders.
- Align with change management processes for schedule updates and modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation, including baseline schedules, progress updates, and reports.
- Ensure all scheduling data is properly organized and accessible for review purposes.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and planning documents supporting the construction of the projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, procurement staff, estimators, construction personnel, and subcontractors to gather schedule status and update requirements.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide schedule-related insights.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal team members and external partners.
- Assist with maintaining multiple project schedules across various stages and scopes.
- Support the development of scheduling tools, templates, and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and independently when needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative.
- Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) by Project Management Institute (PMI), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) by AACE International or similar scheduling certifications is a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation wereasonablyexpect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations.
