Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Procurement / Purchasing
Location: City of Syracuse
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $50,000-$90,000 K annually DOE
Shift: 1st

- Assisting in maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, and project team members.
- Supporting procurement of materials and services for ongoing projects.
- Helping distribute scope of work assignments to subcontractors and vendors.
- Assisting the Project Manager with subcontract creation and change order processes.
- Supporting project accounting and tracking contract change orders.
- Helping coordinate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Assisting with administration and tracking of project costs, including accounting updates and approvals.
- Coordinating project schedules and maintaining communication protocols.
- Participating in field quality control and attending job meetings as needed.
- Assisting in project closeout procedures and maintaining records for submittals and closeout requirements.
- Traveling to project sites as necessary (2-3 days per week).
- Hold a 2- or 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Building Construction (required).
- Have strong leadership, planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Preferably have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the commercial building construction industry.
- Have a solid, consistent work history.
- Are comfortable using computers and office equipment for daily tasks.
- Can travel to project sites as needed.
- Must provide professional references.
