Project Manager – Traveling Construction Superintendent
We are seeking a Project Manager – Traveling Construction Superintendent to work at a leading organization in Syracuse, NY.
Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000–$120,000 per year
Shift: 1st

- Providing on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring specifications are met and work proceeds on schedule and within budget
- Coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, and overseeing scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety
- Monitoring projects from planning to completion, including budgeting, manpower resources, and scheduling
- Ensuring quality control procedures are followed, enforcing standards, and adhering to safety and security needs on site
- Traveling daily to jobsites for personnel management and progress review
- Managing daily logs, assisting in obtaining permits, coordinating required inspections, and maintaining organized and clean job sites
- Identifying conflicts in construction progress, communicating with the project team, and providing direction for up to 30+ subcontractors and vendors
- Minimum of 3–5 years verifiable experience in the commercial construction industry on projects between $250K and $5 million per job (must have)
- At least a 2‑year college degree (must have)
- OSHA certification (must have)
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Sage CM, Clock Shark, and Holobuilder (must have)
- Ability to read all types of commercial drawings (must have)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills (must have)
- Willingness and ability to travel daily to various jobsites
