Construction Superintendent in Syracuse

Job Description

MDM Construction Management is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, supermarket, grocery store, restaurant, and retail construction projects – including both ground up builds and renovations – ranging from $50K to $5M throughout New England and New York.

Salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, licensing, and project background.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors
• Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and field teams
• Manage and maintain project schedules
• Schedule inspections and coordinate onsite deliveries
• Maintain daily logs and project documentation
• Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals
• Oversee quality control and punch list completion

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Previous supermarket, grocery store, restaurant, or retail construction experience
• OSHA 30 Certification required
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and managerial skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safe construction practices
