The management and delivery of commercial building construction projects from planning &
development through groundbreaking to project completion.
General Summary of DutiesThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from concept
through to completion. This is a senior role at our organization and requires interaction with a
range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts
simultaneously.
TravelTravel to jobsites 2-3 days per week for personnel/job management and progress review.
Responsibilities- Commence and complete all projects assigned.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with Clients, Consultants, and other agencies of the project team.
- Plan and implement all procurement of materials and services for each project.
- Accurately and thoroughly create scope of work assignments for each subcontractor & vendor according to job requirements.
- Create contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Estimate, create, compile and submit all owner change orders and sub-contractor change orders.
- Manage, supervise and be responsible for all project costs and participate in project accounting updates, approvals, and processes.
- Manage all project team members.
- Create and update all project reporting and communications to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Maintain project communication hierarchy and protocol between projects team.
- Review projects in field
- Quality Control
- Schedule and attend all job meetings.
- Create and participate in Project closeout procedures.
- Ability to travel to projects for 2-3 days per week on a weekly basis.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in commercial building construction project management is desired along with a solid employment history

Supervise and enforce responsibilities of Superintendents. Supervise and maintain client & consultant relationships. Responsible for all project purchases and accuracy associated Accurate Project Profit/ Loss statements.
Mental and Visual RequirementsClose mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, using a computer terminal, and reading.
Physical Activities and Requirements- Uses personal computer approximately 4-5 hours per day.
- Uses telephone and email to communicate with consultants, contractors, and coworkers, approximately 5-6 hours per day.
- Sits approximately 4-6 hours per day.
- Visits project sites on an ongoing basis; moves about the project sites.
Ability to operate various office equipment including computer, printer, telephone, fax
machine, copier, and collating equipment.
Environmental ConditionsWork is performed in an office setting where there is no substantial exposure to adverse
environmental conditions.
