About the Role

The Cal Source is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Customer Service Representative. The position involves a hybrid schedule, splitting time between remote and on-site at the customer location.

Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Greeting clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Providing basic administrative assistance for various computer systems used in the calibration laboratory.
  • Maintaining the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
  • Responding to customer service calls, emails, and web requests promptly and courteously.
  • Quoting and scheduling field service/onsite jobs to include the monthly schedule.
  • Following up with customers on past due invoices.
  • Performing shipping and receiving duties, as needed.
  • Processing calibration documents for technicians.
  • Generating calibration quotes.
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 2 – 5 years relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or electronic/mechanical product and/or services support highly desired.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone skills.
  • Some accounts receivables experience desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be personable and interact comfortably with clients and co‑workers.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
