Role DescriptionGeneral Dentists at Dentserv Dental Services provide on-site clinical care to residents and patients in partnered healthcare facilities in Syracuse, NY. This part-time role includes performing routine exams, diagnosing oral health conditions, developing treatment plans, and delivering restorative and preventive procedures. Daily responsibilities also involve educating patients on oral hygiene, collaborating with facility staff and dental assistants, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Dentists in this role focus on compassionate, patient-centered care, tailored to the needs of individuals in long-term care or similar settings.
- Valid DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school and current New York State dental license in good standing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including examinations, diagnostics, restorative care, and preventive treatments.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary facility staff.
- Experience working in healthcare facilities, long-term care, or mobile/onsite dentistry settings is preferred.
- Ability to manage a part-time schedule on-site in Syracuse, NY, including reliable attendance and punctuality.
