We are a Syracuse-based design-build architecture and construction firm serving Central New York since 1971. Our team integrates architecture, interior design, and construction under one roof.

Position OverviewWe are currently hiring an Architectural Technician / Revit Drafter for our Syracuse office.
The primary responsibility of this position is to produce coordinated construction drawings and detailed Revit models, with a clear understanding of how drawings translate into real-world construction.
This role supports design development, construction documentation, and basic construction administration. The candidate must be capable of drafting redlines efficiently, building and updating Revit models, producing floor plans and details, and assisting lead architects, interior designers & project managers throughout the design and construction process.
Assignment and supervision may vary depending on project needs.
Responsibilities- Produce and coordinate construction drawings using Revit
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
- Draft and implement redline revisions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with code research and ADA compliance documentation
- Create high-level 3D models for client renderings & support design presentations
- Participate in site visits and assist with construction administration tasks
- Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
The successful candidate will be:
- A motivated, self-starter with an attention for detail
- Can balance working on several small projects or large, long-term projects interchangeably
- Comfortable with the fast-paced nature of ‘design/build’ projects that often require on-the-fly attention
- An organized individual with strong verbal & written communication skills
- A team player who is comfortable in working with evolving project teams that consist of architects, designers, project managers, trade reps & customers alike
- Shows a willingness to grow professionally and is adaptable to following, fine-tuning and creating policies and standards programs
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- 3-6+ years of experience working for an architectural firm
- Associate’s degree required (bachelor’s degree in architecture preferred)
- Documented proficiency in Revit, with at least 3 years of experience
- Background in utilizing Enscape 3D rendering software
- Strong drafting and space planning skills
- Basic knowledge of building codes and construction practices preferred
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite & Bluebeam software a plus
- Salary Range $28 - 36/HR:
