St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonologist to join our robust, highly experienced pulmonary team in Syracuse, NY. This position includes a blend of outpatient clinic and inpatient pulmonary consultations within a collegial, well-supported group committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Position Details- Full-time or part-time Pulmonology opportunity
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding on pulmonary hospital patients
- Typical cases include COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, pleural effusions, respiratory failure, and other acute/chronic pulmonary conditions
- Comprehensive Services:
- Full Pulmonary Function Laboratory
- Spirometry, chest X-ray, ECG, and oximetry
- Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
- Advanced COPD/emphysema care, including the Zephyr Valve program
- Evenly shared call rotation: one week per month, with triage phone service for office patients
- Location:
St. Joseph’s Health – including outpatient locations within the Syracuse, NY region - Join a team of experienced physicians and advanced practitioners
- Opportunity to participate in program development and expand clinical services
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
- Candidates with sleep training or interest are highly encouraged to apply

- Base Salary: $ $ – $
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
