OBGYN Laborist opening in Syracuse, NYFull-time or Part-time;
Permanent Seeking BC/BE Employed Overview:
Seeking a board-certified OB/GYN Laborist to join a respected and established team in Syracuse, NY. Ideal for OB/GYN physicians passionate about high-quality obstetric care and clinical excellence. Collaborative, physician-friendly environment. Program supports approximately 1,600 deliveries annually. Comprehensive services including midwifery, OB/GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and a Level III NICU. Laborist will exclusively manage laboring patients and oversee routine and complex deliveries.

Provide OBED and GYN emergency response coverage. Provide coverage for OB/GYN emergencies. Seven in-house 24-hour shifts per month (full-time equivalent). Supported by a strong team of midwives, OB/GYN partners, and subspecialists. Provide exclusive in-hospital obstetric coverage Leadership opportunity within a robust Women & Infants service line. Level III NICU at the hospital Level III ultrasound services with strong Maternal Fetal Medicine physician support and full-scope inpatient midwifery and laborist coverage.

Supportive leadership prioritizing sustainability and provider well-being. Management of laboring patients, including routine and complex deliveries. System volume of approximately 1,600 deliveries annually. Position Offers:
Compensation range of $630,000-$760,000 base salary. Posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and excludes productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, and other applicable cash compensation. $50,000 starting bonus. Up to $25,000 for relocation assistance. Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage. Paid malpractice with tail coverage. CME time and $4,500 annual expense allowance.

Base salary (full-time): $305,000 per year. (Posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and excludes productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shifts, or other cash compensation.

Compensation may vary based on experience and other factors in accordance with state law.) Starting bonus: $25,000. Additional shift compensation available.
