Anthropology Adjunct Faculty

Position: Anthropology Adjunct Faculty - Onondaga Community College
Job Description:

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in Anthropology to teach introductory and intermediate courses for the Fall 2025 semester.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Master's degree in Anthropology from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency.

OR

* Master's degree in Archaeology, Sociology, History, Egyptology, Social Sciences, or Ethnic Studies and 18 graduate-level credits in Anthropology from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* College teaching experience.

* Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.

Application Instructions:

* Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment.

* Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
