Position: Graphics Adjunct - Onondaga Community College
Job Description:

The Art & Architecture Department is seeking adjunct instructors for Spring 2026.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree in art with a concentration in graphic design from a regionally accredited college or university is preferred; candidates with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and substantial professional web design experience are encouraged to apply.

* 3 years of experience in the field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Ideal candidates will be designers specializing in web and interactive design with related professional experience.

* Thorough proficiencies with current industry standard software programs, languages and web standards are required.

* The college seeks educators who have experience working with students from widely diverse backgrounds.

* Prior college teaching experience.

* Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.

* The ability to encourage student success is essential to teaching at Onondaga Community College.

Additional Information:

* Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment.

* Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
