Preschool Substitute Teacher Aide

• Work only when school is in session – we follow the Syracuse City School District calendar.
• School-day hours with student dismissal at 2:30 M, T, Th, F and 12:30 Wed. No nights or weekends!
• Paid time off (PTO) accrues for both full-time and part-time staff.

• High school diploma.
• Experience with young children and/or children with diverse abilities.
• Sensitivity and understanding in diverse settings.

• Frequent movement throughout the school building, including classrooms and playground areas.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.

• Sufficient vision and hearing to observe, communicate, and maintain safety within a classroom and community setting.
• Capacity to manage occasional high-stress situations calmly and professionally, including crisis intervention or emergency response.
