PE Teacher remainder 25/26 School Year
SANY’s Citizenship and Science Academy of Syracuse (Grades K-5) is excited to announce the opening of a Physical Education (PE) Teacher role for the remainder of the academic year. We are looking for dynamic and creative PE teachers. We have a great environment for new teachers and encourage experienced teachers to apply! New York State Certification Required.
We need Teachers who will:- Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter’s curriculum.
- Collaborate with staff to determine charter requirements for instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy.
- Appreciate regular feedback, accountability, and the rewards that come with doing a great job serving our students and communities.
- Have great classroom management.

- Enrollment in the NYS Teacher Retirement System (TRS) or a 403(b) employer match.

- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Certification required.
- Experience with a diverse population of students or in an urban setting is a plus.
- Prior teaching experience preferred and novice teachers encouraged to apply.
- Fingerprint clearance through the NYS Department of Education.
