Spanish Teacher

Manlius Pebble Hill School (MPH) seeks an innovative and accomplished Spanish educator to join our World Languages Department for the 2026-27 school year. • Teach a full course load of five sections (or equivalent) across grades 2–12, fostering students’ language proficiency while cultivating an appreciation for the cultures, histories, and perspectives of the Spanish-speaking world.
• Co-advise a small group of Middle or Upper School students in support of their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Participate as a facilitator or co-facilitator in the Middle and Upper School Clubs program during the school day.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across divisions and departments, fostering teamwork and cooperation among faculty, staff, and administration.

• Experience with proficiency-based language instruction
• Familiarity with educational technology, including Google Classroom

The annual salary range for this position is $51,000 - $67,500, dependent on teaching experience, with excellent benefits that include medical, dental, and life insurance, an employer-matching retirement savings plan, and tuition remission for eligible children.

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
• A bachelor's degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field is required; master's degree preferred
• At least two years of classroom teaching experience is preferred
• A demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices, responsiveness to diverse learners, and a willingness to participate fully in the life of the school
