Part‑Time Faculty: MFT 773 Family Violence (Summer 2026)
The College of Arts and Sciences seeks an instructor to teach MFT 773 Family Violence – Online Sync Thursdays 5:30 pm–7:30 pm, 5/11/2026 – 8/21/2026. The course focuses on a systemic approach to assessment and treatment of family violence, including child, spousal, and parental abuse.
Responsibilities- Develop and/or update the class syllabus
- Prepare lectures, projects or other student assignments
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours
- Present instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course
- Meet all designated class periods
- Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Provide departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations
- Build a positive rapport with students and other faculty
- MA or PhD, and previous teaching experience; LMFT or equivalent
