The School of Education seeks Part-Time instructor to teach EDU 220 Field Experience and Seminar I (1 Credits)- Offering 2 sections

Gain hands-on classroom experience while building the knowledge and skills needed to create inclusive, anti-racist, and culturally responsive learning communities. Through direct engagement with students in grade 1-3 classrooms, candidates will analyze student learning and reflect critically on their experiences-developing the foundations of their teacher identity and educational philosophy.

Corequisites: EDU 215, RED 215, and SPE 212

Qualifications

* Preference will be given to applicants with experience supervising Syracuse University teacher education students.

* Supervise teacher candidates during a 78-hour field experience in Grades 1-3 classrooms.

* Support candidates in developing inclusive, culturally responsive teaching practices.

* Provide feedback and guidance to foster professional growth and reflective practice.
