Job Description:
Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a part‑time instructor to teach MFT 603 (3 credits) Introduction to Trauma Studies (Online MFT MA Programme) during the Spring 2026 semester. Course
Description:
This course is an overview of trauma studies and examines trauma typology, prevention, and intervention and is taught through an ecosystemic lens. The hiring rate of pay will be based on per‑credit‑rate history within the hiring department. All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
- MA or PhD, and previous teaching experience.
- LMFT or equivalent.

- Developing and/or updating class syllabus.
- Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Submitting completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
- Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
