Pay Range: $1,483.20 – $1,751 per credit hour
Hours:
Fall Semester 2026, 4:00 PM‑6:00 PM, Storch Theater, 08/26/2026 – 12/02/2026. Office hours are required.
Job Type: Part‑time
Rank: PTI/Adjunct, Unionized Position Code UA
Qualifications- Advanced or terminal degree (or equivalent professional experience) desirable.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- Teach lecture, discussion, and performance class once per week.
- Develop and/or update a class syllabus.
- Prepare lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours.
- Present instruction based on course competencies and performance levels.
- Meet all designated class periods.
- Reschedule the class or obtain a substitute if unable to meet class due to illness or emergency.
- Notify the department chair of any absence and plan to cover the class.
- Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Provide departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
- Build a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
