The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an innovative, externally funded research program; contribute to graduate and medical education; mentor trainees; and participate in departmental and institutional service. Research areas of interest include vertebrate development, stem cell differentiation, organogenesis, iPSC-derived disease models, organoids, tissue patterning, live imaging, spatial or single-cell approaches, mechanobiology, and developmental signaling.
Minimum QualificationsCandidates must hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree and have relevant postdoctoral or independent research experience.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree in cell or developmental biology or a related field and currently hold the rank of an assistant or associate professor or a comparable leadership position in private industry. Applicants should have established track records of funding and research productivity. Successful candidates are expected to develop and maintain a vigorous extramurally funded research program and participate in the education of medical and graduate students.
