Campus Ministry The Office of Campus Ministry provides opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to grow spiritually, to engage in local, domestic, and international service and social justice opportunities, to make spiritual retreats, reflect on contemporary social issues and to actively practice their faith. Campus Ministry welcomes and serves persons of all religious affiliations and faith traditions.

Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director of The Grace Center for Faith and Community and in collaboration with the Campus Ministry Staff, the Campus Minister for Retreat Ministry and Faith Formation promotes the deepening of an active faith and spiritual life, personal and communal, among the students of Le Moyne College. The primary ministry is to create vibrant programing, robust retreat offerings, individual and communal prayer/discernment opportunities, and community centered activities that help deepen, renew, or begin a personal relationship with God.

This work is accomplished through a strong understanding of Ignatian spirituality and the stages of faith formation in young adults. This position requires a person who will creatively and strategically develop new programs/mediums and refine existing programs based on the ongoing assessment of student needs and interests.

This is an 11 month position that works from August through June.

Principal Duties and Essential Functions Job duties specific to this position:

Create a compelling vision for and develop a dynamic portfolio of retreats and other experiences which will engage students in various aspects of faith formation and spiritual development.

Implement all aspects of the retreat program and other faith formation opportunities for students based on class year (First Year Student Retreat, Senior Retreat etc.) as well as topic based (Kairos, Busy Student Retreat, Health & Wellness Retreat, Silent Retreat).Create new retreat and faith formation opportunities for students of all faiths and for those with no religious beliefs.

Promote opportunities to learn about and practice Ignatian Spirituality.

Create and maintain assessment measures for the program.

Recruit, mentor, develop and empower student leaders who support the retreat program.

Reserve and coordinate the use of various retreat facilities and college vans.

Coordinate the OCIA & Confirmation program.

Work with faith and service-based student organizations.

Keep and maintain accurate budget records for all programs.

Maintain a respectful environment for a diverse population of students; embrace diversity in the College and greater community, and treat students as individuals.

Work collaboratively with the Grace Center team and campus partners

Serve, as needed, as a mentor for Campus Ministry's Service opportunities

Assist with local service/outreach initiatives.

Serve as a Campus Ministry presence at Sunday Mass and attend all special liturgies of the college.
