Whitman School of Management is seeking Part-Time Faculty for EEE 110, Discover the Entrepreneur Within, Fall 2026, In Person

Course description:
Self-exploration of issues surrounding creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship (CIE) as they apply in all facets of life. Students apply their creative potential in various contexts, including a community-based social entrepreneurship project. Students must be enrolled in the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Learning Community.

Qualifications

* Experience working with undergraduate students in an entrepreneurship center and/or teaching entrepreneurship.

Job Specific Qualifications

* Experience in teaching at the university-level is preferred.

* Strong communication skills required.

* Have an understanding and appreciation for the role of EEE in business

* Must be available and willing to teach on campus

* Must be available during existing course times that meet throughout the fall semester

Responsibilities

* Preparation of lectures, projects, and other student assignments, in collaboration with the EEE department

* Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours

* Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance level of the course

* Meeting all designated class periods

* Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations and school/college-level policies

* Providing departmentally sanctioned form for completing student evaluations

* Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner

* Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty members

* Other responsibilities as indicated.
