Description
SANY is excited to announce the opening of a Full-Time Substitute Teacher at the Syracuse Academy of Science High School for the academic year!
Responsibilities and Duties- Follow the lesson plan provided by the classroom teacher
- Maintain appropriate records such as attendance and grades as directed by the classroom teacher
- Establish and maintain order in the classroom
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning
- Take all reasonable precautions to protect the safety and security of students, materials, equipment, and facilities
- Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules and administrative regulations
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior teaching experience preferred and novice teachers welcome!
- Fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education
