Power Engineer, Staff

What We’re Doing: Lockheed Martin’s Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team designs advanced radar systems. They seek talented individuals passionate about ground-based, ship-based, and airborne platform RADAR Technology. The team provides RF designs for circuit board components, modules, radars, and radar systems within a fully integrated environment.

The Work:

Provide technical leadership: Lead Radar programs focusing on power supply design and power subsystems.

Research, design, and develop: Create power circuits and systems used in radar applications.

Execute all design stages: Conduct trade studies, develop architectures, perform technical analyses, ensure hardware solutions meet quality standards, and follow proper engineering processes and methodologies.

Communicate effectively: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and lead interactions with cross-functional teams.

Interact with customers: Collaborate directly with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues and assist in program planning.

Who We Are Looking For:

Ideal candidates understand how different system components work together. This role requires collaboration across teams, processes, and systems to integrate relevant pieces effectively. A level 4 employee typically has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience and is considered senior-career.
