Job Location: Hybrid (Syracuse, NY), $130,000-$150,000 Annual Salary, Full-Time, Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established company that supports large-scale utility and infrastructure construction projects, and they want you to join their team as a Transmission & Distribution Estimator.
Your day-to-day as a Transmission & Distribution Estimator:
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for utility construction projects
- Review project documents to understand scope, risks, and requirements
- Work with internal teams to develop pricing strategies and bid packages
- Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing and review bids
- Support project handoffs to ensure smooth execution after award
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Experience estimating transmission, distribution, substation, or utility projects
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
