Head of Project Delivery

Our client, a globally recognized engineering firm specializing in turnkey cleanroom systems and controlled environments, is expanding its U.S. presence with a production facility in Oswego County, NY. This center will enhance local capabilities in manufacturing, nationwide project execution, and modular system installation.

We are seeking a Head of Project Delivery to oversee the U.S. project delivery organization, shared services, contract management, and logistics. Reporting to the President and collaborating with the Vice President of Engineering, the Head of Project Delivery ensures seamless field execution of complex projects, operational excellence, and consistent client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead nationwide project delivery, managing field execution, subcontractors, and installation performance from design phases through commissioning and after-sales support.
• Oversee contract management under Design-Build/EPCM frameworks, ensuring negotiation, compliance, risk management, and issue resolution, including in unionized construction environments.
• Manage Shared Services supporting project delivery, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, commissioning, and administration.
• Align operational logistics and supply chain with project requirements and field readiness, while identifying and resolving workflow bottlenecks between design and manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary client-facing executive during project execution and commissioning, ensuring quality, schedule, and commercial objectives are met.
• Provide operational feedback to engineering and modular design teams to support innovation and continuous improvement.

Professional

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA or graduate degree desirable.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in project delivery, construction management, or operational execution for technical facilities (e.g.,pharma, biotech, semiconductor, renewables).
• Proven ability to manage multi-site, complex projects under Design-Build/EPCM frameworks, including experience in unionized construction settings.
• Strong knowledge of subcontractor management, logistics, and field operations.
• Familiarity with modular/off-site construction, including FEL1–FEL3 workflows and MEP integrations.
• Expertise in project control tools (Primavera, MS Project, ERP/CRM) and operational KPIs, plus proficiency with digital tools including BIM, Revit, Procore, and Trimble.
