Location: Upstate New York – Syracuse, Rochester, Albany, or Buffalo

A leading, 100% employee-owned civil and utility engineering firm is expanding its transmission and distribution services across upstate New York. We are seeking a Senior Transmission & Distribution Engineer to lead complex, high-profile projects and work closely with utility clients and private developers.

• Lead design work for overhead and underground transmission and distribution projects.
• Manage client relationships with utilities and private developers.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring technical quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to business development initiatives to expand the firm’s reach in the region.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers and project teams.

• 5–7+ years of experience in transmission and distribution engineering.
• Strong overhead transmission line experience preferred.
• Experience with utility clients such as:
  National Grid, PPL, EAP, TVA, or private developers.
• Proficiency in: PLS-CADD (mandatory), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, general T-line software;
  Aspen and Sim Cap a plus.
• Strong technical leadership skills and ability to work independently on complex projects.
