The Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and closeout of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) upgrades, building modernization, environmental compliance works, and site rehabilitation projects. The role oversees schedule, quality, safety, and stakeholder coordination.

- Project Planning & Development
- Support project scope definition, objectives, execution strategy, and delivery milestones.
- Plan utility shutdowns/outages, project phasing, and develop continuity strategies to minimize disruption to operations.
- Project Execution
- Manage day-to-day site activities for General Contractor (GC)/subcontractors.
- Track project progress and team productivity.
- Manage submittals, requests for information (RFI), inspections, and as-builts.
- Proactive communication with facility operations team and tenants.
- Coordinate shutdown planning with facility management teams.
- Compliance & Safety Management
- Implement site-specific safety plans, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), toolbox talks, and permit-to-work systems (Lock out Tag Out (LOTO), hot work, confined space, Etc.).
- Maintain documentation for daily permits, inspection reports, test records, O&M manuals, training, and closeout deliverables.
- Coordinate with EHS teams to ensure compliance with OSHA and client safety programs.
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated success delivering MEPF, building upgrades, and site projects.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, MS Project, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam.
- Strong project controls capability (schedule, cost, risk, change management).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to read drawings/specifications and manage construction phase activity.
Certifications (Preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour (Construction)
- First Aid/CPR

Additional information
- Work arrangement:
Daily travel to project sites in Corning, NY - Requires on-site work in mechanical rooms and active construction environments.
