Jacobs invites applicants for the Project Manager – Water Design Build role. The position offers a pay range of $145,500 to $220,110 per year, based on skills and experience.

As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will lead design‑build teams across the U.S., protect water resources, and help grow the local marketplace by pursuing and winning projects.

• Overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on single or multiple assignments.
• Implement the Design‑Build process, including alternatives, cost estimating, risk quantification, supply chain selection, project budgets, schedules, and all commercial aspects.
• Manage projects from conception through completion, both large and small, in accordance with program objectives.
• Manage budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projects.
• Oversee consultant invoices, contractor pay applications, change orders, and coordinate with the Control Manager for reporting.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Resolve complex construction‑related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Monitor construction database against scheduling and cost control reporting.
• Maintain excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• Multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or 15+ years of experience in lieu of the degree.
• 10+ years of experience in Design‑Build water, wastewater, water resources and/or conveyance work.
• Preferred certifications:
  Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect license.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Physical ability to perform duties such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and handling repetitive hand movements in varying environments.
