In the role of Environmental Scientist 1

• Obtain real‑world experience in exciting drinking water, wastewater, energy, sustainability, resiliency, and/or ecological restoration projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
• Apply standard science and engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

• Habitat Restoration and Mitigation
• Design concept development
• Permitting and compliance support
• Monitoring and reporting
• Field surveys and bio‑benchmarking assessments
• Offshore Wind construction compliance support
• Offshore Wind transmission planning
• Endangered Species Act Permit compliance
• Ecological and Water Quality Monitoring
• Support Nanuet Laboratory projects, including field surveys, laboratory analysis, data analysis, and reporting

• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages
• Local candidates preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or closely related field
• Knowledge of wetland delineation, field investigation techniques, and agency coordination requirements
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• MS Office experience
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
