Position:
Process Engineering Technician

Hours:

3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assure manufacturing process is running per procedure or conduct engineering tests.
  • Monitor manufacturing process or perform failure analysis for engineering or quality.
  • Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering.
  • Re‑writes documentation to update new practices or prepares reports for engineering or quality.
  • Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results.
  • Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating data.
  • Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or supports the efforts of engineers.
  • Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests.
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing, and disposing chemicals.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn.
  • Familiar with PC applications.
Education and Experience
  • Associate’s Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong math skills, especially statistics.
  • Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

  • Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
  • Requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • Vocational/technical education and/or relevant certifications may be required.
Compensation and Benefits

TTM offers a variety of health and well‑being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the first of the month following the date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $49,557 – $78,331. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly bonus, and positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium.

Statement

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. This includes the ability to identify ITAR products on the manufacturing floor, understanding that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents, recognizing foreign visitors by badge differentiation, understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities, understanding the export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US, and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
