Responsibilities
- Create, carry out, and refine environmental compliance programs to align with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Manage air, water, stormwater, natural resource permits, and spill prevention programs, including inspections and reporting.
- Lead hazardous waste compliance activities including inspections, shipments, and program oversight.
- Conduct environmental audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions aligned with ISO
14001. - Support construction projects and contractors to ensure environmental requirements are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience coordinating environmental compliance programs.
- Working knowledge of CWA, CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, and ISO
14001. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience leading small teams or cross-functional projects.
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections and external audits.
- Background in both construction and operational environmental compliance.
- Experience with New York State environmental permits and regulations.
US base salary range: $70,000.00 – $ per year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
