Overview
Micron Technology is seeking a NY Construction Scheduling Lead to support U.S. Expansion construction efforts for large-scale, high-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects. This role will lead scheduling strategy, schedule integration, progress reporting, and schedule risk management for the New York construction program. The Construction Scheduling Lead will partner closely with Construction, Facilities, Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement, EPCM partners, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to develop, maintain, and communicate integrated project schedules.
Responsibilities- Lead the development, maintenance, and governance of integrated construction schedules, including baseline schedules, achievement tracking, dependencies, critical path analysis, and resource alignment.
- Partner with Project Managers, Construction leadership, Facilities teams, EPCM partners, contractors, and site customers to define work scope, sequencing, schedule assumptions, and execution strategies.
- Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear mitigation plans to support timely project delivery and alignment with Micron objectives.
- Prepare and communicate weekly and monthly schedule reporting, including key performance indicators, progress trends, schedule variance, critical path impacts, and executive-level updates.
- Review contractor schedules, workforce plans, productivity plans, progress measurement methods, and schedule control plans to ensure alignment with project requirements and Micron standards.
- Support project controls processes, including schedule reporting, organizational change, earned value inputs, risk management, benchmarking, and lessons learned.
- Drive schedule integration across base build, facilities readiness, tool installation, and tool readiness activities to support overall project execution planning.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and maintain clear partner concern paths to resolve field issues, schedule conflicts, and project execution risks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, project controls, or construction planning for large-scale construction, semiconductor FAB, advanced manufacturing, or greenfield mega-projects.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of Critical Path Method scheduling.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and reporting complex project schedules, including achievements, dependencies, critical path impacts, schedule risks, and progress trends.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and collaborator management skills, with the ability to present schedule performance and risks to senior leaders.
- Experience supporting semiconductor FAB construction, high-volume manufacturing facilities, or complex capital expansion projects.
- Experience integrating schedules with project management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of project controls practices, including earned value management, organizational change, risk management, benchmarking, and construction progress measurement.
- Experience working with multi-functional teams, including Construction, Facilities, Procurement, EPCM partners, Operations, Manufacturing, and external contractors.
- Familiarity with global project execution standards, project control systems, schedule governance, and lessons learned processes.
US base salary range: $‑$ per year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
