In the role of Environmental EIT/Designer, we'll count on you to:

* Assist Senior Engineers in environmental remediation projects that include remediation design and implementation

* Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures

* Complete projects that have clear, specified objectives and limited variables

* Perform administrative duties associated with project management for environmental remediation projects

* Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects

* Assist senior engineers in environmental remediation projects involving feasibility studies, pre-design investigations, remedial design, remedial action and post construction activities.

* Interpret data and summarize it in tables, charts, and/or maps.

* Complete duties requiring field work and travel as needed

* A valid driver's license is required for this role

* Perform other duties as needed

* Preferred Qualifications

* 40-hour HAZWOPER training is strongly preferred

* Master's degree in environmental engineering or closely related Engineering field

* EIT or the ability to obtain. Candidates hired without their EIT with be titled "Environmental Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT license for career progression

* 10-hour OSHA training is preferred

* Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS experience

* Professional experience with engineering internships is preferred

* Local candidates preferred

* Strong commitment to safety.

* Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding sampling task in adverse environmental conditions (rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures.)

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
