- The US Expansion Construction team leads the design and construction of large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the United States.
- The Wet Mechanical Systems Operations Engineer is responsible for overseeing design, construction, and commissioning of wet mechanical systems for the NY expansion project.
- This role ensures alignment with technical standards, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness, with transition into sustaining engineering support post‑commissioning.
- Oversee third‑party design and construction of wet mechanical systems including plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, and process piping.
- Validate engineering deliverables (e.g., P&IDs, equipment specifications, system layouts) for compliance with project and industry standards.
- Coordinate with design firms, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure system performance, integration, and on‑time delivery.
- Lead quality assurance, risk assessment, and commissioning activities to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and operational readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in wet mechanical systems engineering, including plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, or process piping.
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME B31.1, UPC, IPC, ASHRAE).
- Experience reviewing engineering documentation (e.g., P&IDs, specifications, 3D models) using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional coordination with external partners and internal teams.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or high‑tech manufacturing facility projects.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination, clash detection, and integrated system design workflows.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices, including energy‑efficient hydronic systems and water conservation strategies.
- Experience with control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA) and system commissioning processes.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PE, LEED AP, CPD) preferred.
US base salary range estimated: $89,000.00 – $ per year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hires across all US locations.
