Position: Mechanical Process Technician - 2nd Shift (90-Day Increase Eligible)
Location: City of Syracuse

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency ("RF") components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and advanced printed circuit boards ("PCBs").

Location & Hours

6457 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY, 13057. 2nd shift: 3:00PM – 11:30PM, Monday–Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assure manufacturing process follows procedures or conduct engineering tests.
  • Monitor manufacturing process or perform failure analysis for engineering or quality.
  • Take measurements for process control or gather measurement data for engineering.
  • Rewrite documentation to update new practices or prepare reports for engineering or quality.
  • Respond to data on process control charts or maintain material movement spreadsheets and report results.
  • Run tests through production process line or assist process engineer with evaluating data.
  • Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers.
  • Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests.
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste, including mixing and disposing chemicals.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn.
  • Familiar with PC applications.
Education and Experience

Associate’s Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing, or equivalent experience required.

Strong math skills, especially statistics.

Technicians will undergo chemical handling training before performing these duties and participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $43,237 – $68,342 per year. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly company bonus and a shift premium for alternative shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending and health savings accounts, accident benefits, life insurance, disability benefits, paid vacation & holidays. Benefits begin the first of the month following hire. Some positions offer only PTO and holiday benefits.
