* ** Parsons is looking to hire an amazingly talented environmental geologist!*
* ** Would you enjoy being involved on a wide variety of geological and environmental field tasks? Parsons is now hiring for our rapidly expanding environmental projects.*
* ** What You'll Be Doing:*
* ** Supporting various environmental projects in bringing effective solutions to complex environmental problems.*
* ** Working with various clients and regulators in developing these solutions.*
* ** Gaining technical experience as you work towards your professional geologist certification.*
* ** Working with senior technical personnel and project manager to further your career goals.*
* ** What Required Skills You'll Bring:*
* + Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field

+ 3+ years of related work experience

+ Familiarity with related environmental rules and regulations is preferred

+ Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills

+ Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations

** What Desired Skills You'll Bring:*

Experience with emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS and 1,4-dioxane)

+

Experience with sediment investigation and remediation

+ OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (and up to date refresher) training preferred.

+ Fundamentals of Geology certification with goal of obtaining your Professional Geologist licensure.

Salary Range: $55,300.00 - $96,800.00
