Overview
A growing specialty metals manufacturer is seeking a Plant Metallurgist to support materials analysis, process development, and quality systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct metallurgical testing and material analysis
- Collaborate with production teams to solve material challenges
- Maintain laboratory equipment and testing accuracy
- Support ISO
9001 / AS9100 quality systems
- BS/MS in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field
- 2+ years of metallurgical or materials testing experience
- Experience with microscopy, hardness, and tensile testing
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Stainless steel and hot working experience
- Familiarity with quality management systems
