YourImpactful Role
As a Building Engineer – Critical Facilities, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and safety of our infrastructure. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing downtime, mitigating risks, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. You’ll operate and maintain critical electrical systems, troubleshoot HVAC and mechanical systems, and engage with stakeholders to provide clear updates on system status and incidents.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Operate and support maintenance of electrical systems like UPS, PDUs, ATS, generators, and switch gear.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance while monitoring system performance.
- Execute system startups, shutdowns, and load transfers following approved procedures.
- Conduct detailed building systems inspections and document risks and deficiencies.
- Develop and execute MOPs and EOPs, driving continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with client leadership and stakeholders.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in mission‑critical or data center environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and HVAC/mechanical systems.
- Proven experience in developing and executing MOPs and EOPs.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for client‑facing interactions.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
- Experience with large‑scale data centers or critical facilities.
- Familiarity with generators, paralleling gear, and load bank testing.
- Experience with building management systems (BMS) or monitoring platforms.
- Technical certifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
