Your work will span waste planning, remediation, engineering, and implementation, collaborating closely with clients and communities to design sustainable, cost‑effective systems that support cleaner environments and healthier communities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Senior Engineers in environmental remediation projects, including remediation design and implementation.
- Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
- Complete projects that have clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
- Perform administrative duties associated with project management for environmental remediation projects.
- Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
- Assist senior engineers in projects involving feasibility studies, pre‑design investigations, remedial design, remedial action, and post‑construction activities.
- Interpret data and summarize it in tables, charts, or maps.
- Perform duties requiring field work and travel as needed.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER training is strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in environmental engineering or a closely related engineering field.
- Eligibility for EIT or already held EIT license.
- 10‑hour OSHA training is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS.
- Professional experience with engineering internships is preferred.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding sampling tasks in adverse environmental conditions (rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures).
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a closely related engineering field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee‑owned culture is a must.
