Building Services Engineer

- Serve as lead HVAC Engineer from concept through construction administration
- Draft HVAC construction drawings including details, plans, and sections
- Perform HVAC load and energy calculations and design HVAC systems
- Select HVAC equipment and develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
- Coordinate all HVAC‑related documentation and drawings throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead design efforts with staff and consultants to meet code, client, and contractual requirements
- Administer projects in the construction phase, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and resolve field issues
- Lead design discussions, implement sustainable strategies, and carry concepts through to drawings
- Research building performance, regulations, and conduct necessary engineering research
- Communicate effectively with clients, respond to questions, and represent the firm
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Design Certification
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Minimum 7‑10 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
- Well‑versed in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lead projects, make critical decisions, and work effectively with teams and contractors
