Overview
TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including PCB solutions and RF/microwave components. This position reports to engineering leadership and involves new product development or internal R&D efforts for RF/microwave designs, from concept through verification and production support.
Responsibilities- Understand customer specifications and drawings to assist in proposal and development efforts.
- Assist in estimating design effort time frames and work independently or within a team to meet project schedules.
- Collaborate with interns, test engineering, and technicians on program tasks, including test procedure development and data reduction software.
- Design and evaluate components using available design and layout tools; follow established standard design processes.
- Understand manufacturing approaches and limitations; perform design reviews prior to release.
- Prepare presentations for internal and customer design reviews; provide nominal simulation results and tolerances analysis.
- Design and evaluate test circuits; correlate expected performance with test results; present data clearly.
- Provide support once designs are in production and assist with MRB processes; generate reports for customers as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to interns, co-ops, and technicians; engage in professional development activities and industry events.
- Solid understanding of microwave theory, including transmission-line concepts; ability to translate ideal concepts into producible designs.
- Experience in designing experiments, analyzing data, and applying structured problem solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document technical specifications and deliver design review presentations.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, HFSS, circuit simulation tools, and standard computing tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MATLAB).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, time management, and ability to multitask in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Minimum 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; emphasis on Electromagnetic Fields (Master’s Degree preferred).

Benefits availability begins on the first of the month following date of hire. Compensation ranges vary by factors including skills, experience, certifications, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $77,039 - $128,399.
Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly bonuses. Some positions may be eligible for shift premiums.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and applicable laws (ITAR, EAR, OFAC). Responsibilities include identifying ITAR-controlled product, managing foreign visitor access, and ensuring proper handling of export shipments and vendor approvals.
