Job Details
Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
- Serve as lead HVAC Engineer from concept through construction administration.
- Draft HVAC construction drawings including details, plans, and sections.
- Perform HVAC load and energy calculations and design HVAC systems.
- Select HVAC equipment and develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate all HVAC-related documentation and drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead design efforts with staff and consultants to meet code, client, and contractual requirements.
- Administer projects in construction phase, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and resolve field issues.
- Lead design discussions, implement sustainable strategies, and carry concepts through to drawings.
- Research building performance, regulations, and conduct necessary engineering research.
- Communicate effectively with clients, respond to questions, and represent the firm.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Design Certification.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm.
- Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lead projects, make critical decisions, and work effectively with teams and contractors.
