Senior Traffic Engineer

Creighton Manning, a GAI Company, is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to work in our Syracuse office. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The candidate must be a team player who excels in collaborative environments and can independently lead traffic tasks with complex features by performing work directly or through supervision of others. Shall be familiar with typical DOT standards and MUTCD design requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the production and checking of technical traffic reports, design plans, design calculations, specifications, and cost opinions.
• Primary tasks will include traffic modeling and analysis (Highway Capacity Software, Synchro/Sim Traffic, etc.), traffic signal design, signing and pavement marking design; and traffic control (Maintenance and Protection of Traffic) design.
• Serve as a Task Manager on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering.
• Experience 12+ years.
• PTOE desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Possesses exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Micro Station computer-aided design skills required, Open Roads Designer experience a plus.

Pay is based on applicant's ability/experience and labor market, and will be rated accordingly.
