Responsibilities
- Support engineering research, design, development, integration, and analysis of complex electro‑mechanical products
- Perform 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and computer aided simulations of concept designs
- Create preliminary, draft, or final released technical data packages
- Identify problems or deficiencies that shall require configuration or procedural changes
- Analyze complex functions, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical, and effective solutions
- Provide inputs to project peers and technical leads
- Interface with vendors and customers
- Comply with applicable AS9100 Quality procedures in the performance of duties
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Mechanical Engineer 2 - 2 years relevant experience with bachelors in related field; 0 year's relevant experience with Masters in related field
- Mechanical Engineer 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- Proficient in 3D solid modeling such as Solid Works or related Solid Works
- Proficient in 2D drawings such as AutoCAD or related
- Understanding of dynamic motion and thermal principles, calculations, and applications
- Ability to obtain US security clearance
