Field Service Engineer
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical solutions, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of the Service Department supporting customer success and technical excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of CNC machine tools on location or by telephone.
- Create and update documentation of technical information and generate reports related to service activities.
- Assist and train Customer's Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
- Establish and maintain exemplary communication and customer service relationships with clients.
- Manage challenging customer situations positively, respond promptly to needs, and solicit feedback to improve service quality.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in a technical-related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
- Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
