We invite you to bring your strong background and current skills in industrial automation and control system programming to help develop innovative solutions for Ramboll’s manufacturing, water, and energy businesses. To succeed in this role, you must have a B.S. or greater in a relevant engineering discipline and 5+ years of experience in control system integration (Years of experience may offset educational requirement).

You will join our Solutions for Industry department
As our new Controls & Automation Project Engineer you will be part of our Process Control & Data Solutions (PCDS) team that supports all aspects of control system life cycles across the diverse industries and systems of our varied clients.

• Control Systems design:
  Lead hands-on, detailed design efforts on assigned projects from initial information gathering through final implementation. Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in design reviews. Verify system performance requirements are met.
• PLC and HMI programming:
  Write original, well-structured code and make changes to existing code. Use sound design practices to generate full system visualization, reporting, and alarming.
• Architecture configuration:
  Configure industrial Ethernet networks. Configure physical and virtual computer hardware/software. Create interconnections to client networks.
• Commissioning and site work:
  Lead the start-up, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of equipment both locally and at customer sites. Field-tune systems and control algorithms. Troubleshoot non-functioning control systems.
