CAD Engineer

CAD Engineer (65-80K+)

We are looking to hire a CAD Engineer to work for a prestigious Manufacturer in the North Syracuse, NY area.

• Create and maintain accurate 3D models and 2D mechanical drawings for custom engineered systems, equipment, and standard product updates.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to complete drawing requests accurately and on schedule in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Maintain CAD data within Autodesk Vault and develop intelligent models, drawing tools, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce drawing creation time.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within CAD processes, tools, standards, and integration with business systems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required;
  Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred;
  Solid Works experience will also be considered.
• Strong 3D CAD modeling and 2D mechanical drawing experience;
  Autodesk Vault or similar CAD/PDM experience is beneficial.
• Programming experience (C, Visual Basic, etc.) and/or 3D printing experience is a plus.
