Chief Financial Officer

MLC Recruitment is searching for a Chief Financial Officer CFO to lead an outstanding nonprofit organization in Syracuse. The CFO will be a strategic leader and develop policies and procedures within the organization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, bank and investment relationships. They will collaborate with the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, finance, and management.

• Create and present finance findings and serve as financial advisor to leadership
• Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Oversee and direct completion of financial statements, financial reports, treasury investment activities
• Ensure legal compliance and oversee risk management on all financial functions

• Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA strongly preferred
• 7 - 10 years' of progressive accounting/finance experience with at least 5 in a leadership role
• Strong experience in a nonprofit environment
