Position SummaryThe Operations Accounting Manager leads a team of eight accountants and oversees core accounting functions including financial analysis, account reconciliations, and the month‑end closing process. This role requires collaboration with Finance and Operations leadership to optimize processes and identify efficiency opportunities.
Salary: 100‑120k plus bonus.
Responsibilities/Duties- Lead a team of 8 accountants.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations leaders to optimize processes and identify centralization opportunities.
- Design, record, and review key accounting calculations, analyses, and financial entries.
- Review account reconciliations and ensure adequate analytical support for all asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
- Lead month‑end closing process and manage financial close activities.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee implementation of new accounting technology and systems.
- Lead internal/external audit requirements, Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance testing, and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 8–10 years of experience; CPA preferred.
- Proven supervisory experience with demonstrated expertise in accounting operations, financial analysis, and month‑end close processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word) and strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
